  1. Current Paintings by Mary McKay Lower and Elizabeth Nelson Holiday Pop-Up of Vermont Artists and Silent Auction

    The T.W. Wood Gallery in Montpelier, VT announces an upcoming exhibit of two Vermont artists, Mary McKay Lower and Elizabeth Nelson. Mary McKay Lower will exhibit landscapes and still life paintings. Elizabeth Nelson will feature works from her travels to Iceland. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, November 8, from 5-7:00 pm with music by the Two Thirds as Far duo. The reception is free and refreshments will be served. Also featured is the gallery’s annual Holiday Pop Up Shop representing works from local Vermont artists and a Silent Auction benefitting the gallery. The Holiday Pop Up shop includes unique and affordable works from Vermont artists that make special holiday gifts and stocking stuffers. Support the Gallery and local Vermont artists while getting your holiday gift shopping done!

  3. Artist Talk - Mary McKay Lower and Elizabeth Nelson

    December 7, 2018, 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM

    5:30pm - Curator Phillip Robertson will discuss Thomas Waterman Wood’s master copies. 6:30pm – Artist Elizabeth Nelson will talk about her paintings and travels to Iceland. Artist Mary McKay Lower will discuss her paintings and abstraction in her work. Lower paints what she observes daily, watching familiar surroundings go through seasonal changes.
