The T. W. Wood Gallery at 46 Barre St in Montpelier, Vermont is pleased to announce two new exhibits of Vermont artists work: Susan Abbot's Warm Places and Axel Stohlberg's Abstraction Around Me, plus the f 7 photography group's Seven Ways of Seeing will run from January 2 through February 23, 2018 with an opening reception on Thursday, January 4, from 5:00-7:00 pm. The reception is free and will offer an opportunity to meet the artists, purchase art and enjoy refreshments. There will be a Gallery Art Talk with the Axel Stohlberg on Friday, February 2 at 5:30 pm followed by Q & A with members of the f 7 group at 6:30 pm.

For those willing to get a little frosty, bundle up and join teacher naturalist Ken Benton as we learn to identify and sustainably harvest a variety of wild foods from the surrounding landscape. We’ll bake with spruce, fir, and pine needles and sip on an assortment of wild winter teas as we cook a wild harvested winter stew over an open fire.
