    September 7, 2018, 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM @ North Branch Nature Center

    Weekly walks with NBNC naturalists to search for migratory fall birds at the nature center. No registration required. Free for NBNC members, $10 for non-members.

  2. Art Walk

    September 7, 2018, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Downtown Montpelier

    Montpelier Art Walk showcases works of Central Vermont artists at multiple locations, 4 times a year. Always on a first Friday of the month. Voted Best Arts Festival 2012, 2013, 2014, & 2015 in Times Argus Best of the Best Reader's Poll Enjoy the local art! Upwards of 20 art openings on one night in Montpelier! Start at any venue and stop by as many participating venues as you like. Many will have the artist in attendance and refreshments for art viewers. Guidebooks will be available at participating business.

  3. William Alexander "Festival of Ghosts"

    oin National Book Award winner Will Alexander for a book signing and reading of his newest middle grade novel, "A Festival of Ghosts," a spooky sequel to "A Properly Unhaunted Place." We're getting ready for Halloweentime a little early around here! Book signing 5-6pm; reading and cupcakes 6-7pm. All ages welcome. Free and open to the public. A Montpelier Artwalk event and a Vermont Arts 2018 Program of the Vermont Arts Council.
