- What is Capital City Cash?
Capital City Cash works like a universal gift certificate for downtown Montpelier. It was started by the Montpelier Business Association, a committee of Montpelier Alive, to encourage support of our local businesses. The certificates are available in denominations of $5, $10 or $20 dollars.
- What if I lose my certificates?
Lost or stolen certificates will not be replaced, so treat them like you would cash.
- Do they expire?
There is no expiration date. Whether you have an old-style of Capital City Cash, or the new ones in pre-printed denominations, your Capital City Cash is still good. We will even accept Capital City Cash from years ago when they used to have an expiration date.
